The Change
The Change is a design and branding organization that seeks to make the world greener, fairer, and truer. Operating on the principle that "truth is your best tool," The Change partners with justice-seeking, environmentally-conscious, and mission-driven organizations to achieve world-changing results.
The Change's website incorporates unconventional design elements like horizontal-scrolling pages, a dynamic photo collage, and a custom-built floating menu. Frustrated with trying to manage this unorthodox site using a mainstream content management system, The Change turned to CMS180.

We preserved the site's existing markup and scripts as we implemented CMS180. We added optimizations for accessibility and search engine performance without sacrificing design. Patent Free Zone
Patent Free Zone is a project that encourages people in developing nations to take advantage of intellectual property that is not protected by patents as it is in the developed world. By advancing the use and application of unprotected intellectual property, Patent Free Zone works to achieve greater innovation and adaptation of existing intellectual property while fostering development in underprivileged areas of the world.
The Patent Free Zone website uses CMS180 to create a simple and intuitive user interface that can be updated easily and seamlessly. With CMS180, website maintenance is effortless, so the Patent Free Zone team has more time for speaking engagements, travel, and revolutionizing the way patents are used around the world.

Creato-Destructo
Creato-Destructo makes short films. Their home base is Carrboro, North Carolina.
The Creato-Destructo team likes to spend time shooting music videos, not editing websites. With CMS180, sharing their newest videos online is a cakewalk. The flexibility of CMS180 allowed the Creato-Destructo team to design a website to fit their tastes—not to fit the CMS. Easy integration with Vimeo and YouTube make video embedding a snap. CMS180's syndication features allow a video to appear on multiple pages, so visitors can find what they're looking for fast.

Sustainable Building Solutions
The team at Sustainable Building Solutions (SBS) takes a relentlessly practical, action-oriented approach to creating greener, cleaner and more comfortable homes and buildings. From insulating and tightening historic homes, to building a rainwater harvesting system for a pet resort, SBS helps clients save money and protect the environment at the same time.
The SBS website communicates the importance of looking at a home as a complete system, and targeting the most cost-effective path to a greener, more efficient and healthier home. CMS180 allows the SBS team to seamlessly update the company's service offerings and residential and commercial project portfolios. As the SBS approach to green building attracts more and more attention from the media, the team can showcase its news appearances with just a few clicks.

Eastern Carolina Organics
Eastern Carolina Organics (ECO) is a farmer-owned company that markets and distributes Carolina organic farm produce. By pooling diverse harvests from several regions, ECO is able to meet the demand for a steady stream of high-quality, seasonal food choices throughout the year.
ECO's website includes seasonally changing content, embedded video, and a searchable collection of recipes. By providing an intuitive and secure content management system, we help ECO to provide up-to-date information about their available produce, and to feature the work of their farmers.

Barley & Birch
Barley & Birch creates cute, environmentally and socially responsible kids wear. Inspired by urban roots plus a childlike intrigue in animals and nature, their clothes catch the attention of greenies and hipsters alike.
Powered by our simple content management system, the Barley & Birch website is a showcase for the company's clothes and a venue for spreading its values.

Eno River Association (In progress)
The Eno River Association (ERA) is a conservation organization whose mission is to conserve and protect the natural, cultural and historic resources of the Eno River basin in North Carolina. The ERA's annual Festival for the Eno draws over 30,000 people to the banks of the Eno for 3 days of live music, crafts and food.
With our design partners, we restructured and redesigned the ERA website. To manage the content of the new site, the ERA will use CMS180 with several extensions custom-built to fill specific needs. Working with designers, we created custom elements including a live river-level meter navigation control.
CMS180 makes content updates easy, so the ERA can keep its members and the community up-to-date about news, activities, and events.
